| We presently conduct auto theft investigations for the insurance company throughout the Hawaiian Island chain. Such investigations typically include interviewing the insured and those associated with the insured, including roommates, spouses or anyone else who may possess knowledge of the alleged theft. Other tasks accomplished at the claims or SIU professionals request include the following: 1) Photographing the alleged theft scene. 2) Conducting a neighborhood canvass about the alleged theft and recovery scenes 3) Photographing the recovery scene 4) Photographing the recovered vehicle, if applicable and focusing particular attention on the ignition lock / cylinder, door locks, VIN, interior components including after-market equipment, and all exterior areas. 5) Obtaining the police agency theft reports or related documentation 6) Obtaining a Disclosure Authorization from the insured 7) Obtaining keys to the involved vehicle if requested by the claims or SIU professional 8) Obtaining copies of other records as applicable 9) Conducting a local records search 10) Other tasks as necessary Recovery Scene Photo, Burned Vehicle: Recovered Vehicle-Totally Burned.
